Do I need previous experience with climbing or canyoneering?
There are many different adventures offered, in which some do not require any prior experience with climbing or canyoneering. However, there are some more advanced packages offered in which some climbing or canyoneering prerequisites are required. See specific activity page for prerequisites.
How does your product/service work?
Review our list of adventures, book on our website. Or email/call/text us to see if we can accommodate you for the dates you desire, and we can make the reservation for you. You will receive a confirmation email with the itinerary and invoice. There will be instructions on when and where to meet, along with a list of items you need to bring. If your group has 4 or less people, Canyon Country Adventures can give you a ride, larger groups need to provide their own transportation to the meeting point.
How much does it cost?
Adventures are priced differently based on how technical the skill or logistics are.
Do you offer anything else besides climbing, Canyoneering, and Hiking?
We also offer educational hikes that will cover everything from geology, hydrology, botany, to basic natural resources management. Also, please check out our Crazy & Custom page for tailored adventures.
Do you accommodate large groups?
For canyoneering, it depends on the canyon, but can handle up to 10 people in most canyons. We can do groups of 20 if broken up into two time slots.
For intermediate and advanced climbers that are interested in multi-pitch climbing, groups of 2 or less are allowed. There are some cases in which I can accommodate up to 3 people. See route page for specifics.
For Introductory climbing, groups up to 10 people are allowed.

How long do adventures take?
Almost all of the adventures are categorized by half-day or less, and full-day. Estimated time requirements are located on each activity page.
Is there an age limit and/or weight limit?
Some adventures have age and weight limits. Please see the specific adventure webpage for restrictions.

What is your cancellation policy for custom or contracted trips?
For non-standard custom bookings or contracted work, we reserve exclusive dates in advance. Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled start may incur a cancellation fee of up to 20–50% to cover lost opportunities and preparation time.
What Services do we provide?
Canyon Country Adventures provides guided outdoor adventure experiences across southeastern Utah, including Moab, Hanksville, North Wash, and Indian Creek. We specialize in guided canyoneering, rock climbing, rappelling, trail running tours, and custom adventure trips in some of the most scenic desert landscapes in the Southwest. Popular experiences include slot canyon descents, rappelling features like Morning Glory Arch, desert tower climbs such as Castleton Tower, and exploring hidden trails throughout canyon country.
Trips are tailored to the experience level of each group, making them accessible for beginners while still exciting for experienced adventurers. In addition to climbing and canyoneering, we offer unique custom experiences such as trail running adventures, adventure elopements, proposal adventures, summit experiences, and other personalized desert adventures for those looking to do something truly memorable in the Moab area and surrounding canyon country.
