
Lower Eardley


Located in the heart of the San Rafael Swell, Lower Eardley Canyon is a scenic and charming adventure that offers a unique and wet experience. With its stunning pools and picturesque geologic formations, this canyon is a must-visit for any canyoneering enthusiast.
The hike to Lower Eardley Canyon is approximately 3 miles, with some steep sections towards the last section. The hike is moderately challenging, but the scenic views and charming atmosphere make it well worth the effort.
When you descend down into the canyon, you'll encounter a fair amount of scrambling and 2-3 rappels to start the actual canyon. Once you're in the canyon, you'll encounter pool after pool which can require some swimming depending on the water levels. While exiting these pools of water you'll get to rappel three more times throughout the canyon.
