Entrajo Slot Canyon (Water Canyon)
Just a quick 20-minute drive from Moab, Entrajo Canyon is a fantastic half-day adventure that’s perfect for those seeking a fun mix of rappels and water challenges. The trip kicks off with an easy approach, leading you into the canyon where you’ll encounter a few rappels and downclimbs, each offering a unique perspective of the sandstone walls.
Depending on recent rainfall and water levels, the canyon may require some swimming, adding a bit of excitement to the experience and a perfect outing for those hot days. The swims are usually short but refreshing. The final rappel, which is also the longest rappel takes you into a deeper pool of water, where the canyon meets Mill Creek.
After completing the canyon, the hike out is super short (<5 minutes) to the vehicle.
This section of the Moab area offers lush riparian zones with relatively low noise pollution.
